Traditional culture lives on in Kanazawa, and even today, there are three teahouse districts(Higashi, Nishi, Kazuemachi).
It is in these teahouse districts where geisha still perform, showcasing their traditional performing arts.

About 1 hour of Dance, Shamisen music, Taiko drumming perfomances, and Geisha games, with geisha from Kanazawa's three teahouse districts (Higashi, Nishi, Kazuemachi).
After certain Kanazawa Geigi no Mai performances, audience members are invited to come see the backstage area at Ishikawa Ongakudo Hogaku Hall!(roughly 30 minutes)※Explanations are mainly in Japanese

In Kanazawa, prospered as a castle town of Kaga Hyakumangoku, there are three teahouse districts(Higashi, Nishi, Kazuemachi) that traditional culture lives on from Edo period. Kanazawa Geisha daily practices and has inherited the traditional culture in the teahouse district remaining even now the old cityscape. The traditional culture has been highly regarded by domestic and overseas.
