ACCEPTANCE OF FOREIGN ENGINEERING TRAINEES BY ISHIKAWA PREFECTURE

Ishikawa prefecture has accepted 140 trainees total for 27 years between 1973 to 1999.  Among the various organizations accepting trainees are: 

The organizations for training in 1999 (From May to Dec.):  Ishikawa Prefecture General Agricultural Research Center,  Ishikawa Prefecture Health and Environment Center, etc.

The technical trainees having completed the training organized the alumni association "Hakusan-kai" (with current membership of 140). 

ACCEPTANCE OF KOREAN BUSINESS INTERN BY ISHIKAWA PREFECTURE

5 interns accepted beginning in 2000.


LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TRAINING PROGRAM

Cooperation Exchange Researcher accepted from Chollabuk-Do beginning in 2000.

ISHIKAWA PREFECTURE STUDY PROGRAM OF JAPANESE AND THE JAPANESE CULTURE

Ishikawa prefecture started accepting students of Japanese at South Korea University of Foreign Languages.

1996:  10-18 students (for 30 days from Jan. to Feb. in 1997).

2000:  Acceptance of 3 students from South Korea Hakusan-kai.

Ishikawa Prefecture and Korean elementary, middle, and high school students to promote exchange through school visits to each other?fs countries and homestays every year.

ACCEPTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OFFICIALS (JET PROGRAM)

Beginning in 1995, acceptance of Coordinator of International Relations (CIR).  Workplace at Ishikawa Foundation for International Exchange.
