ACCEPTANCE OF FOREIGN ENGINEERING TRAINEES 

Since 1986, five to seven trainees have been accepted for 10 months every year, and the total number of accepted trainees to date totals 78.

In 2000, Ishikawa Prefectural Agricultural Center accepted 3, the Prefectural Nursery School College accepted 1, and the Prefectural Health Environmental Center accepted 2 trainees.

 

INVITATION OF INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OFFICIALS

The official of Foreign Affairs Division of Jiangsu province government had worked as an international exchange official of Ishikawa prefecture. The term is 1 year.

His office is Ishikawa Foundation for International Exchange.

 

YOUTH EXCHANGE

 

High school students in Ishikawa Prefecture and Jiangsu province have visited each other?fs countries every summer and have cultivated cross-cultural communication through school visits and homestays since 1996.

 

ACCEPTANCE OF AGRICULTURAL TOUR OF JIANGSU PROVINCE

Five to six agricultural engineers of Jiangsu province have been accepted for about 1 week every year since 1991, and they have visited the agricultural facilities in Ishikawa and have joined discussions with their staff.

The agricultural engineers of Ishikawa prefecture have also visited Jiangsu province and have given agricultural guidance.

 

SENDING TRAINEES OF CHINESE

A prefectural official is being sent to study Chinese language at Nanjing University.
