Establishment of R&D facilities

R&D is the most important activity for companies that are faced with severe competition. Ishikawa Science Park, which is located in the southern part of Ishikawa, a 30-minute car ride from Kanazawa, the prefecture's capital, offers many advantageous conditions.

Many facilities and support institutes including JAIST, the first national graduate university with many seeds in state-of-the-art technology, are focusing on and supporting R&D carried out by companies. The science area is equipped with a good infrastructure that includes high-level information transmission systems suitable for high-speed and large-quantity communication, and its abundance of greenery lends it a calm atmosphere.
